Iniesta’s Goal, the Biggest Highlight

It wasn’t the Champions League or the Copa del Rey finals. Our position in La Liga wasn’t at stake. However, Iniesta’s goal in the 93rd minute in Stamford Bridge was the greatest moment this season according to Barça true fans (31.6%).

It was a dramatic match: the final whistle was about to blow and the top scoring team in Barça’s history couldn’t hit the net of Chelsea FC. We were on the edge of abyss… And just then, humble, little Iniesta appeared to write Barça’s history in gold letters.

Of course, without Eto’o and Messi’s goals in Rome, Iniesta’s feat would now look somewhat lacklustre. But Barça did win the Champions League, so Iniesta reached the hearts of all culés.

Oddly enough, the second best moment this season (chosen by 27.9% fans) wasn’t a final either. Instead, it was the 2-6 game against our eternal rival, in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
